Makes My Head Nod....

The CD is called Lost and Found and it must find it's way to a CD player near you. The artist is Ledisi. Her voice is the breadth and width of everything that is neo-soul. She is one of those simple but elegant black women. Her songs speak to anyone who has ever been loved, been in love, longed for love, loved love, etc.... My understanding is that her previous album(s) were not in that tone. I haven't taken her out since. The title track "Lost and Found" really put words to the emotions that I'm sure all of us can relate to as we journey down this road of self discovery and self acceptance. Ledisi may have been lost, but I have certainly found a reason to put Lizz Wright away for a lil bit. Don't worry Lizz, I'll put you back in the rotation soon enough, but a brotha is sick and tired of being sick and tired. Ledisi is truly uplifting.
