...you see Jill Scott live and in concert. I caught the second night of her "Real Thing" tour in ATL on Saturday. Jill is definitely the business. This woman worked it out and took you on a journey that chronicled her artistry. It was an honor and pleasure to be in the presence of such creative prowess. Jill can not only sing the hell out of her songs, but she is a "poet who sings". She can make the hardest trials and tribulations of life sound beautiful enough to make your problems wash away in the violin and piano chords. I was immersed in profound lyrical beauty. If you haven't caught her, please do not hesitate. It's worth every penny. She is the "Real Thing". If you can't see her live, you can always settle for this.
