Rachelle Ferrell

No words can describe what this woman did this past Friday at the Tabernacle in ATL. I was vaguely familiar with her songs. I was more a fan of her vocal abilities and not really immersed into her lyric. That all changed.

She hit the stage an hour later than what was advertised on the ticket. I was pissed and tired. The sista more than made up for it. She tore the stage up. She sang high and low effortlessly. She went from song to song and I was there with here through all the vocal acrobatics. She's a humble talent and was totally majestic.

To top it off, India Arie was in the audience. Those women performed for almost 45 minutes impromptu. I knew India could sing but I didn't know she could SANG. She put her best foot forward while she was up there with Rachelle. I developed a more complete sense of respect for those two artists.

India also brought up two of her friends to sing and they were phenomenal as well.

If you ever get a chance to see Rachelle, please take the opportunity. Even if you're not a fan, you will leave that concert experience one.
